The Bellas’ Coachella Picks
One of our favorite times of the year is here…
…where two of our loves meet and meld: fashion and music.
Coachella is upon us and the Bellas have made their festival picks.
To start things off, we look back to a look we love: this head to toe look from Cynthia Vincent a few seasons ago…the ikat print…the vest…the bag…the hair…the accessories…so much to love here. Timeless festival look.
This year, for an easy look, pair this tank from Free People with a pair of denim cut offs. You can’t go wrong. Light, airy, festival ready.
Or you can go rocker tee. We like to be non-literal, to this Stillwater tee from Junk Food is perfect.
For bottoms, we love basics for Coachella. American Eagle makes great denim shorts at a fantastic price. Their high rise festival shorts shown above in a light destroyed wash will go with anything.
For a slightly different take on the denim cut off short, try One Teaspoon’s London Bonitas short shown here in a dark denim wash or…
…their Cobain Bandits shorts here. Both fantastic picks for long days at the music festival. You’ll be both comfy and stylish.
Love to layer when it finally cools off? This poncho from Free People will do the trick: just enough to keep you cool or warm, whatever you choose.
If you can get your hands on a Winter Kate kimono jacket, pair it with a simple chic tank and leather shorts.
The Gia hat by Brixton just screams Coachella. Wide brim to protect your face from the sun, gorgeous leather braid detailing. A great hat for the festival and all summer long.
Ray-Ban aviators are a must for any music festival and this classic style you will wear forever.
There are a few of choices we made for our feet. Above, the Winima laser cut sandal by Cynthia Vincent. As much as we love heels, we also love comfort during long days and nights dancing in the sun and under the moon. The Winima is both stylish and practical.
Je t’aime!! Obsessed with the Athena gladiator sandal, also by Cynthia Vincent. Just remember to apply the sunscreen to avoid serious tan lines.
If you want to go the bootie route, these cowboy booties from Anine Bing are the way to go. An updated version of the classic cowboy boot but not overkill.
You can also style your look with a wide variety of accessories: turquoise, friendship bracelets, gold bangles, an assortment of charm necklaces…the key here is layer, layer, layer!
Stay tuned for more on Bellas on Coachella. Up next: looks that inspire.
